What needs to be changed?

Obesity needs to be changed. Make students educated in the art of cooking. Allow them to make delicious foods whilst being healthy. Many students would rather have fresh cooked meals than the slop the lunch lines provide. This allows both parties to be satisfied and healthy.

This country isn't just carbon neutral — it's carbon negative TedTalk Summary and Questions

In a small country in the border of the two most populated countries on the planet, India and China. This small country is named Bhutan they have a forest cover of 75% the country. In doing so they are able to battle their carbon emission and negate them. They are doing these things through a few national programs and in doing so they are created a fund. They are using this fund to motivate others and themselves to learn the amazing effects of having such things. They gave an example of a tiger. The tiger was first found in the country in their sub-tropical jungle, then later they were able to find that same tiger in four-thousand feet above sea level. They were able to do this because they connected all the jungles that are present in their country. Also they are able to create a national movement in order to inspire all others to move towards a better world. You may look different but we are all having the same goal we want to better ourselves and the world.

Ted Talk Summary and Questions

How do you survive a nuclear attack? Shelter, food and water are all essential to the survival of all beings. There are many phases for surviving a nuclear explosion. There is a radius of one mile from the bomb drop that instantly disintegrates you. After that there is another radius which you may survive as you have a fifty percent chance of survival. In after you must go away from the bomb drop and away from the prevailing wind, if you do not you will die from the fallout. The fallout is just as dangerous as the initial explosion. If you are able to do this then you may have a chance of surviving. Another important thing is that you need a radio which is powered manually in doing so you are not relying on energy from the grid which most likely is destroyed. This is how you have the possibility to survive a nuclear attack.

Social Issues

Terrorism:
The United States of America uses scare tactics in its wars. So what makes us different than those known as "jihadists". We are basically terrorists in our way because we are using "terror" as a mean of war.
Social Networking and Privacy:
Privacy and freedom of the internet should be widely accepted. The government should not regulate the sites in which people frequent. The government is too regulate their over reaction to certain sites and people's voice.
Shopping While Black:
Stereotypes are found in many places. Whilst shopping "black" or African Americans are racially profiled whilst shopping they are followed or constantly looked at because of their race. When in nice areas and there are African American where they are shown being harassed while shopping for common goods.
